Thank you to every one that came round Saturday morning to help with my buggy. Still got a fair bit to get done on Sunday. Brakes to do, steering column to realign and a few tweaks to the rear body to chassis and perhaps fit the fuel tank to start with
I'm in my buggy,
It's raining,
I really don't care.

Can't believe I never got an update done on here....

Well today I finally got round to working on the buggy after it's winter lay up.
Battery was flat as my solar charger packed up. So battery out and on charge.

Jacked up and got a fresh coat of underseal applied to the floor.

Removed all the plugs and cleaned them up. All good and no soot or oil deposits. Refitted them and removed the coil lead from the dizzy. Reconnected the battery. Then cranked it over to get oil round the engine.
Refitted the coil lead and turned the key...... first hit and she fired up and ticked over without a touch of the loud pedal.
While it was running I gave the engine the once over to check all is well.
No oil leaks anywhere, great news.
What's that smell??????

Ah crap.....my injector seals have failed on two of them. Fuel is leaking every where.

Bugger it..... turn of the engine and start wiping up the fuel.

Found my refurbed injectors and new seals.....bugger no fuel pipe or clips.

Ah well perhaps I'll get it all done tomorrow.
I'm in my buggy,
It's raining,
I really don't care.

Wow, it has been a long time since i have posted on here.... computer failures and mental health issues along with memory fails (dam passwords) have all conspired against my posting.

well lets see how long it lasts before i forget how to log in again lol.
I'll have to try and figure out the broken picture links at some point.

Good to see you on here mate, was wondering where you'd been now you're almost a neighbour.

There's a show in chesterfield we've put our names down for, will post the details when I can find them.

Hope you're well settled in, all the best, Dave and Lynn
