Got some new led lights take 2 as yellow tint spray and plastic do not mix  I hope in time they will do a classic looking set. I got this type as they are slim and with a mod will fit in lucas 700 spot lights as road kings are hard to get...and with this type the fitting will fit in as well so no cutting needed..still need to line them up etc

If you are after yellow tinted plastic headlight lenses, you can always use the film instead of paint

I did that as well but the light rim lip is hard to get spot on...I have got some classic yellow 7" covers now. .

Last fuel line bent and put in to day .I had one 12mm in. yes it is a bit big but thats all my steel guy had This buggy will end up efi so two lines needed.but I had the last bit of 12mm he had So 16mm or 2 weeks to he got some 12mm in  .. The tunnel is now full

Beam tower bottoms were rusted out So typ4 rod caps did the job

Why I can still weld I'm doing all types just for the hell of it ..The arc was at hand today so I welded the stop plate on ..

Still got to re cut the bottom tube and put in a sway away adjuster that will hold the leaves and not let them float like some people do.. new bag and you can see the old arm with a solid bar it would work but with leaves it pulls on them a lot ...

As I'm not that well it's a slow build . And as I lifted the rear frame forks,  I will now just about have room for a type 1 engine ...but I all was had a thing for ct 1600cc out of the T25 Yes they are under powered and built for old tin cans  but they are cheap and in lots of ways are a type one under the tin but low profile and the Man in the white coat told me I'm not to drive fast cars..so i got one It was that bad no one showed up to pick it up 2 times.. a 4hour road trip then a day in bed, but its home..I do not know why as I probably got 4' built type ones

It's out the car thanks to my good lady ..Not thinking I did not take a look at the engine before buying   Just paid and put it in.. Now I see the gold paint and stamp in the case  ...I'm hopping it's a recase as back in 2002 there was a lot of new cases to be had and it's only stamped ct no numbers..

A lot of people will probably never have seen a CT engine it was used in the T25 T3 and was crap..It was no more then a 1600cc bug! engine that was made from cast parts They have a 215mm clutch, small value heads, hydraulic lifters and 3 m8 bolts that hold the fan on that can sheer off.. But they are a late case so 80s and have a built in oil filter And type 4 solid lifters do fit them ..I have put one in a bug before but the case needs cutting to fit type 1 tin and the oil cooler mount is more forwards then a type one..

They can be very much addictive The Good thing is you can lock them away for years at a time and they do not age!
