Hi Buggyheads, can anyone tell me how the horn centre cap fits onto the grant steering wheel please, need to know in advance of buying one, thanks..
My intention is to fix wheel to boss, then fit boss & wheel to column, and I would like to know if I can then just push horn cap on ? I need the hole in the middle to pass my spline bit through and tighten the wheel on, so this wouldn't be possible if cap needs fitting first.

I think it is push and twist, pretty sure it goes on last
Assume you want to use it for the horn, if not there are many ways of fitting it last

Hi Doon, no I won't be using it for the horn as i have a button on my dash, it's just cosmetic.

They just push on after the wheel is fitted
Have fun. Be lucky

They come with an insulated stiff card disc that the horn push goes onto push and twist a bit like a radiator cap and a spring between the disc and horn push keeeps the contacts apart. You could just fill the horn push dish with something so it locates onto a bolt thread or something sticking up from the boss.
