Gary (big GP) jazzy and myself are going for a last min drive across town on Saturday (6th August) morning weather permitting. Why? Well why not!

Actually we are going to try out the Ace cafe run route as there has been a few changes in recent months so just ant to make sure it's all good. Besides any excuse to drive across town in a buggy! Starting at beckton at 11.00am, we will follow the typical run we do across town with a few variations.

If this route works as good as planned, then we will use it in September for the actual proper ace run itself. Anyone else want to join us, just let us know below.

Yes baffles may be a good idea although we aren't on directly the kensington patch as such, lets not rock the boat too much! (I won't have my camera running this time! lol)

Well Gary and I did the recky of the route yes and it's a good job we did. We will need to tweak the route slightly to accomdate the changes due to cycle routes and delays with T lights. But it will be as good as ever! (Including a short bit along Oxford Street)

Shocking thing is though with the thousands and thousands of tourists around in the perfect sunshine, hardly anyone noticed us!!!!! Ok a factor might be it was two middle aged fat blokes in it as opposed to some pretty girls. Will be very different when there's another 20 plus buggies driving through. I guess that's the price I will have pay being at the front of the pack.

Well one bloke noticed us, whilst in the queue of traffic near Hanger Lane, a chap in a 15 plate Rolls Royce Phantom asked for a card, gave him a bb info card as he might want one! Better watch those new sign ups Dave!

I headed through the centre today on my way back from Beach Buggin'  Up the A3 and then back out the A1.  Got plenty of smiles, waves and people winding down their windows to talk to me.  Must just be you too  ;D
