dear mister German policeman,
i have seem to have forgotten my wallet after you violated me on my way home, you ve taken its contents and made me lose my frends.
coud you find it in your hart to send me my id card and licence back, i'l admit i have been a bad boy and broke your rules. even geman officers should have a hart somewhere.

kind regards, your beer money supplier for this week :'(

Back on the ferry after a trouble free run from IBW to beachcafe bing for food and sand play before returning hook, only problem was Ruben got pulled by the german police for towing and unbraked trailer so they emptied his pocket of cash.

Only thing to do was buy him a meal for his help over the weekend his multi meter was useful with the problems with the GB buggies.

DC suffered electrical failure on ign warning light and cooked coil, condenser and regulator so now running a test light screw drive wired onto the coil for voltage sensing, lawson suffered a broken t3 fan hub, Davyd had a petronix 3 failure plus others had events so all returning to the UK under their own power.

A great weekend with some great like minded people.

DND Dave I have supplies of pancake mix and t shirt.

Glad everybody got home without any breakdown or trouble with the buggies.  ;-)up

The Belgian law is the same as the german, even worse...you can't tow another car unless it has a breakdown and than you have the leave the highway at the nearest exit. Not allowed, even if the towed vehicle is braked.... :-[    One Europe??? Pfff ....
Any idea where IBW 2017 will be? I've heard Switserland...but don't know if that's correct?

The advance party had a stress free trouble free run back to the pub in Middlekirk too.
Finally got a bit of free WiFi at the Pipers Pub.
Having one or three for Flags birthday before heading the 30 miles back to Dunkirk in the morning.

the officer had to call someone to find the right offence, i think he just picked one from the book. it was not for towing altho he told me it was the reason.
he said if it where braked it would haven been 25 euro plus "Jonny foreigner fee" unbraked was € 80 total € 105. on the spot. :'( its only money :-\

Gutted  :'(

Those photos look brilliant, and I know how much fun you had.

I know I made the right decision to bale out, and managed to do near 80 miles on the M5 without actually touching my throttle pedal at all - it was like cruise control - it was just too unsafe to travel out of the country with it.

Next year - I will be there   ;)
