I"ve seen pictures of this ear Snorkal buggy from time to time,I now think it"s roof must be one of those american buggy roofs(B....something). A nyone know if they would fit a swb sidewinder.I was determined to make one, wood or fibreglass, but i have to build a house now instead.(not as a roof for buggy).I guess importing one would be hugely expensive, does no one hear make one ?

I've often thought the same, it's got to be one of the coolest roofs out there but I've never seen another over here! I'd defo be up for getting one if there were any available!

I'm pretty sure that is the only one. I think billybob brought it over when he was importing Berrien stuff. Might be worth a message to the owner to see if he fancies a mould being made of his but if you had the only one in the country would you?

It's the Berrien Buggy Roof and can be found about 1/4 of the way down this page listed under Hard Top

http://www.acmecarco.com/berrien-buggy/fiberglassbuggies/options-and-accessories/body-accessories

Available in standard Colours http://acmecarco.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=21&products_id=3392
And Metal Flake http://acmecarco.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=21&products_id=3393

Hate to think about shipping costs.

I always thought one lengthened would look awesome on the FF buggies as they have a very retro shape.

It was billybob who originally imported the roof, I bought it off ebay about 7 years ago, I put beach buggy into fat fingers and it brought up a 'Beech Bugy Roof' notice the spelling mistakes.

That was probably why no one else bid on it and I won it for around £55.00  From a bloke in Doncaster who hated it and was selling his buggy.

I have to be honest, at first I wasn't keen on it, it was my wife who said get the side pods in white and it will look amazing.

It fits perfectly on my buggy that was the Sidewinder pre-mold made by Mel.

But, sorry guys.  I don't want anyone making a mold making from it.  That's what make my buggy unique.

Got to admit I'm gutted to hear you say that because I would love one but I would be exactly the same if I had it! 8)

I have to agree with uniqueness, I've had a couple of buggy chaps ask if I could replicate my roof and louvres.
Yes I could but I like the fact mine is different.
So if you want a 1 off I think you have to do it yourself.
