couple of snaps from the weekend at vw festival .....

had a mooch around the stalls at vw festival & happened upon an mdf fret panel .... vee-dub .... for the bargain price of a £5
i bought it with the intention of  mounting it into the rear back board.

here it is



i removed the trim from the board and laid it out to mock up how i wanted it



had to work out where to cut the strips i'd already made before.



so i cut them to suit, then fixed them back into position...... ready for glue.



i always put the carpet underneath the board, so i get an outline of where i need to spray next.



flip it over.



then start working the carpet into the recesses.



then popped it back into the buggy.



JOB DONE !



very pleased with my £5 purchase.
