I always thought that if your car didn't have windscreen wipers that it would still pass an MOT, but if you do have them they have to work.
I've seen lots of buggies with windscreens and no wipers and was wondering how anyone with this setup has got on with the MOT test.
My buggy currently has a macrolon screen so wouldn't suit wipers, think I may have to either cut the screen short so I can see over it, remove it  or replace it with glass and wipers.

I know some people that have removed them just for the MOT

Rules are relatively clear. The buggy MUST have working wipers unless (and only unless)

1, The screen is removable or fold down (or opening like a split)

2, The screen is low enough to meet the requirements of this diagram (there is somewhere a table for variation of certain measurements)

(Mine just fits within the second option)
