Front beam is on and greased, now onto the front brakes and a bit more painting.

Front beam is fitted, couldn't find micarta to fit an original front beam, seems they only make them for the reproduction beams now, so I had to ditch the bearings and go for polyurethane.

Steering is connected, with Mikes stainless track rods.

Brakes are all plumbed.  The original blue residual pressure valve I had fitted, split on one of the connections, so I had to get a new 2psi one from McGill Motorsport http://www.mcgillmotorsport.com/brake-residual-pressure-valve-2psi-for-disc-brakes-675/
Calipers are all smooth and painted.  I've used a pressure brake bleed kit (Sealey VS820) made the bleeding simple and quick.

Rear end is all buttoned up, hopefully drop the engine back in soon.

Got the engine in.  even fired it up.  A while ago I built myself a tool box for bench testing engines.  After clearing an airlock (and getting a mouth full of fuel) I fired up so at least I know the engine is still good.

Got my wheels back from wicked wheels http://www.wickedwheels.co.uk/, refurbished and chrome powder coated, Still waiting for them to return my wheel centres.

Also started cutting the holes in my new bonnet, the fuel filler is cut and ground to fit my popup filler door.  Mini wipers are mounted (still need to mount the motor somewhere).  Also cut the dash for the dials and other controls.

Finally I've stuck down the body to floor seal, guess we all know what's next.

OK, it's been a long day, pickup this van at 8am.

200 miles later, and 2 years of waiting, arrived in North Yorkshire to pickup a brand new LWB FF shell, the first one in 20+ years.  Got it strapped into the van, glad we got the Luton Transit as it just fit.

Another 200 miles back, getting home about 8pm and it was time to unload straight onto the floor.  It's just sitting on there at the moment, will look at bolting it down next.

Thanks to Kelly-Ann for finally persuading the guy to make the shell.  Tomorrow it's time to crack on.

Not really Mike, it's just a handy bit of kit to have lying around.
