I would love to do this.

But I am a fare distance from Coventry.....  :'(

Plus, mine is not the prettiest (paint wise) at the moment, so don't want to let the side down.

My daily is not shiney and neat but may be there and whatever you think of yours at the moment  it is still a buggy, as for the distance if you want you could do a stop over friday night and go back saturday.

I will have a serious think (anybody got some brain cells I can borrow) before I put my name down.

Hi Jazzy Early, thanks for even considering doing the distance to Coventry, at the end of the day mate, a buggy is a buggy and that's what we want  8)

Here's the list so far:

1.me (Allan)
2.Ben
3.Karl
4. Lee
5. Chad
6. Dan
7. Wrinkly Ninja
8. Gary
9. Lawson
10/11?Snoopy & Vicky

The aim is for 18 buggies, if we get more that's a bonus.  I should imagine at this event there will be the usual models walking about  :D and a good chance of being televised.... I will look into this  ;-)up Thanks to everyone so far  8)

TV coverage good thinking there Allan that very thought occurred to me whilst away in the van central news or midlands today both do the speedway racing news and they like quirky out of the ordinary news items and coventry is about as far away from a beach as possible in the uk.

Sky Sports have the rights to Speedway in the UK, so they may not allow News access to the locals, reserving it for themselves.
You can check the Sky IPG to see if this event is covered by Sky....

I cannot make it. Snowy checked the diary and I fly out to Istanbul the night before to do the WTA Championship Finals (Tennis) for 10 days.

I am sorry, but I will see if I can get a copy of any coverage from a colleague at Sky, if we determine they are covering the event.
