Hi all

According to the law I believe you are supossed to display your tax disc on the bottom left hand side of the windscreen.  If you have a buggy or rail without a windscreen where are you supossed to display the disc. Anyone know the rules.

In that case I would put it in one of the metal holders facing out at the side of the dash/bonnet (or rail) by the passenger side. Best to not to raise any issues that the authorities could pickup in the first place.

When me and my mate had the rail on the road it was bolted to the fly screen using a metal motor bike tax holder

it just needs to be visible from the pavement on the n/s of the vehicle so it can be checked without endagering the person/officer wishing to check it.

They are nifty Hunter, haven't seen them before and quite like the look of it...

Spose they are legal for cars too ?

Playing devils advocat here, I think if you came across a real jobsworth of a traffic warden, they could argue that the rolled disc was obscured and not clearly visable.

I guess that's true, but if they are legal for bikes then, and I have no idea if they are, then I would have
thought they were for cars too.

Its quite a neat idea though, and not hard to roll it so the date is showing.
