Chris, I know it's frustrating but stick with it! I'm really gutted that mine has been off the road so much so far and can hardly make the meets at your pub. You know if I could I would. Likewise you have had the folks from around the m25 come up on those meets too. Hunter, Carole, Emma n chris and others have been up. And am sure if you were able you would make the trip to leather head yourself yes?

I thought your meets were publicised just as much. Remember the ones down on the south side have been going for 14 years! And yes there are more SDBC guys in that area, but stick with it and folks will come.  Don't give up!  ;-)up

andy I am saying this so people can concentrate on the one meet mate ,and I am just stating its only the same few that ever come that's all ,not moaning,not groaning just stating facts and saying that I think we should call it a day that's all I have tried and I also thank everyone for turning up ...but if you look back its never been promoted enough mate,not after moaning or winging or argueing mate I have been there so not again for me  ;-)(-;

What a great night.
Just under 300 miles for a burger and half a cider may sound daft. But well worth it for the company !!
Racing skeletor down the M40 in a beach buggy will be something I won't forget !!

Chris, I thought your meet was publicised just the same?

It's titled the same ( but north)
It's in the calendar the same.
On the same forum for all to see.

And we would have come to yours, but there hasn't been a third Wednesday in this month yet, and we only decided to do this last week.

As for whose manor it is .....
Is there such a thing ??
If so I guess we were way off ours tonight !!!

No worries Chris  ;-)up enough said on the matter. It's your shout and we all respect it completely. And I know you will completely welcome us all whenever we visit, as you always have. (Those who haven't been, Chris runs a great pub, with quality food, top value and is always accommodating for us)

Looking forward to seeing the buggy on Sunday!  ;-)up ;-)up ;-)up

Was a great night, got home just after 2am glad I did it though, great surprised looks on your faces as we rolled up at your pub. Nice to meet some old friends again and meet some new ones, don't forget Lucy, when you want those measurements for the wiper arms send me a PM and I will sort it for you.
Hope to make another one some time  ;-)up  ;-)(-;
I'm in my buggy,

Hey Chris, I've been to your pub on 1 of the 'northern" SDBC night, yes I wasn't in the buggy, I was still building it then! But I still came! When did we see you at a MBC club night???

It was great to come down to the SDBC meet up (was that the 3rd or 4th time I've shown up), and it was great to see so many of you there. Surprised looks? I think you were confused  :P Midland invasion! It was a lot of fun and I probably giggled way to much in the buggy. It was totally worth it, so thank you for making us all feel so welcome!  ;)
