HI Chris,

Its totally your call, and you will know what is best to do, but you do have the advantage of having a great place to meet already sorted and not too far to travel ;-)up

I wouldn't worry too much about the numbers, and who turns up, as its really just about keeping a regular meeting time and place and eventually folk will come.

When I started the MBC in 1998 we had as many as 28 buggies turn up one evening. But then by about 2003/2004 it was literally the same 4 or 5 couples that came each first Wednesday of the month, and rarely in buggies, for the next 8 years. But we still just used it as a good monthly social gathering to have a drink, food and a chat, even if sometimes there was only three of us. It was just nice to know that at least I would get one night out a month at the club meet.

Don't get me wrong I was at the point of knocking it all on the head but glad I didn't because about 18 months to 2 years ago suddenly a lot more guys and grirls began turning up and now we have a good regular base of 12 to 15 cars (some of which made the trip last night :)).

I will have to pop down your way sometime as its a part of the UK I rarely get change or have need to visit. Will be nice for a run out.

Whatever you choose to do, keep buggying and enjoy.

Chad you total hit the nail on the head with what you've written...

Also, if you're popping to the (N)SDBC pub sometime, I'd like to come along to, if that's ok with all  ;-)up

Well Hunters face was a picture when we pulled into carpark he jumped up grinning and waving like a buffoon.
But it was a good reception and thanks to the southerners for the welcome.
I hope the M25 cameras were off as speeds got a bit excessive at times despite the 65-70 mph agreement it must have been the excitment of getting Dans mini adventure over as soon a we could.
A long way for a J20 though but the ride back up the over the cotswolds was great with no traffic so back home for 00.40 hrs( despite wasted time with a complete petrol pump power failure at Cobham services but we kept the staff amused )

Well i'm glad I made it last night and it was a total shock to see you guys rock up and great to meet you and put faces to the names and buggies :D ;D

Definitely up for returning the favour and pop up to yours but maybe we'll keep that as under wraps as you guys did ??? :o :-X

Chris I did try to make it up to yours for the last meet but catastrophic brake and steering failure put pay to that, I was hoping to come up to the next one weather pending so don't knock them on the head yet :( :'(

I should think that if you just turn up at Chris's pub, he will make you all most welcome no matter what the day of the week.... After all, we all like to meet up and chat about ours and each others buggies when ever we can.  ;-)up  :D
I'm in my buggy,
It's raining,
