What soft squidgy things do you put between them?

Personally I used standard door draught excluder

These guys are great for rubber trim, and have a nice catalogue that they will send you with some life size pictures of profiles in - really handy

I've got a length that might just about do it, 105cm-41 1/4", it's the exact length for my Jas. You're welcome to it if it'll do, there is a bit of stretch in it.

That's about 5cm to short 

There's probably that much stretch in it if you want to try it, maybe superglue either end to keep it there? It depends on what the section of your bottom chanel looks like. Mine has a groove for a rubber like this to slide in to.

Just a thought on something that the bonnets can do....

The area the screen sits down on can and does fall away from centre as it goes to each outside corner of the bonnet.

It a real pain, and may be useful to find what you need and make sure it has enough depth to accomodate
this falling away of the top/mounting face.

I had quite a bit of trouble sealing it when using the supplied Manx screen rubber extrusion, which quite frankly
is pretty hopeless if rain is involved...

Not sure if this neoprene profile is of any use, but I probably have an offcut leftover in the garage around the length you are after - let me know and I`ll dig it out for the weekend

Woolies (in Market Deeping) will send you several free samples, just phone them and it arrives the next day, a very efficient firm to deal with. I've been using them for years!

Car Builder Solutions are worth a look, they do all sorts of trim bits.
