Hi Folks!  ;-)up

A while ago Mel said if I could lead a cruise up to Mel's, he would buy me breakfast  :P and I think he posted on ye olde forum about getting some of us buggers making the trip over there too! And I can't be the only 1 who would like to see the old git again!

So who would be up for the trip? It'll probably be an early one - driving at "crack of sparrow fart" as Dave DND recently called it. How about we avoid the motorways and take the scenic route?

Also, Mel suggested that maybe I could combine something with this buggy trip and the stroke charity, and he is happy to donate and do his bit if its of any interest... I'm just wondering how, I don't think I could ever do it as good as Krug, but maybe call it a charity cruise and everyone puts a £1 or £2 in the pot, sort of thing...

Just a thought  ;)

Love the idea.... August for me may be a problem as I have the hospital event, holidays and "Bull Fest" at my local pub ... a music festival I wont miss....

Even if I cant make it - happy to help out with some of the charity ideas and things that I know work from the hospital event.  ;-)up

I'm defo up for it, I said I would call on him soon and besides, he owes me some money!!!!
(Mel, if you are reading this.... ;-)up  ;D ;D ;D )

But yes dates will be tricky in August, I think it's the second week we have beach buggin down south and though its a Saturday (so could do the next day) it's the London/ace cafe run.

If we can find a date in August great, but if not there's still September which might be fine weather. (We did October there 2 years ago and it was like August!)

The last weekend in August looks clear and there doesn't seem to be anything going on September...
