that looks great hazel  ,  not sure I could have done it myself, or even had the courage,
I like you third brake light.
I have fitted one of these, will not flash unless the brakes have not been used for 5 seconds, so doesnt flash every time you brake, like in traffic etc, road legal, on a lot of the top end cars, tacky...but I like tacky 
not sure if it will stop anyone running into me though, they may be to distracted watching it flash 
at least I know it works as Chad did the wiring

Should hope they aren't driving if they suffer epilepsy fit's

I doubt it is flashing long enough to cause a fit. Also I'm not sure if the colour of the flash has any impact on triggering epilepsy.

it only flashes for a moment, and then reverts to a normal brake light, it only goes back to it if the brakes havent been used for 8 seconds I think it is..or something like that.
so when you are in traffic for examle, the first time you press on the brakes it will flash, but as you in traffic and on the brakes all the time, it stays on as a standard brake light..if you can follow that.

Flashing brake lights are OK and legal.

Epileptics that are triggered by flashing lights can't gain a driving license unfortunately (one of my good friends suffers with this).

Its no different to the flashing LED rear lights cyclist now favour so all good.

That said check it has an E mark or similar to be extra sure

the brake light is one that I bought from car builders solutions so is E marked, its the flasher unit i bought separately ...you bloomin wired it up for me
