anyone got a good picture  of a early handbrake,    ie     how are the cables attached to lever  as theres no balance bar  used  like  later ones ,     and has anyone used the chrome empi one on a early 64 or before chassis 

no one running a early chassis

64 would just be the threaded cable end up either side of the lever so cable balance was important. Pre early 50's the cables were inside the tunnel and adjusted via the hole to get the gearshift rod out.
