Hi Everyone. I have just purchased a hardtop roof from East Coast buggies for my Mel Hubbard sidewinder buggy. Can anyone in the group please tell me where I can get gas lifters and frame to attach the roof to my roll bar and swivel brackets to attach the roof to the windscreen frame.

Thanks for the welcome. Still looking for the roof lifter kit for my purple buggy

I really doubt you will find an off the shelf kit - every one I have ever seen is bespoke 

I've adapted this bit of kit to support the rear cover of my buggy  https://www.bedslats.co.uk/slatted-bed-bases/ottoman-bed-bases

If you check out on Peter's site   https://www.manxmaniac.co.uk/yourRoofs-SoftTops.php   and have a look at "H" you'll see where I've fitted it, I changed the gas lifters as they were too powerful so I managed to get some that were weaker for the purpose needed.


Oh and the "Manxster RX" has the same bit of kit in your picture.

He had his local engineering friend make that setup to his design.
