Nearly Finished now, another week or so I reckon (been on it 5 months, so made some use of lockdown)

Just as a shout out to Carlie & A-Plan, they just insured this Prowler-Corvair (140) with agreed value classic cover of £20k for £108. How is that even possible!

Great service.

Bought the engine from Rob Kilham, (it's a 140), and was rebuilt by him a few hours running ago, but he openly says he's no engineer, and I rather suspect I will be puiling it down at some point soon, as I don't feel completely happy with it. I re-did all the tinware, built a new alternator (quite a specific front frame for the corvair) and generally tidied it up, but a full pull down is I think inevitable.
I will likely also ditch the Holley in favour of a pair of twin downdraughts, (probably the Empi built 40's). annoying, as I (today) built the odd air cleaner box to fit around the body! ho hum
