Just wanting to check the status quo, any old but serviceable LWB bodies out there?

I'm not sure I'll stick with LWB for long, just long enough to get it sorted then I'd really like an SWB.  This being the case I'm not sure I want to spend £2k on a funky LWB kit, better wait and get the SWB new.

So what's about?

Pretty sure that there must be more lwb than swb out there now. Often on ebay etc. Steer clear of any trader offering buggies for sale.  They ask ridiculous prices.

LWB FF Buggy basic kit (body and bonnet/dash, no side pods) is £1200 in solid colour.

You're right Paul, there's not a lot of money in it for us manufacturers.

Jazzy and I are in it just t keep the shells available and in the UK.  We are running at quite a loss at the moment, and one day just hope to break even.

I Echo Gordon's comments,

Took us nearly 40 shell sales of Doon to simply break even on the cost of making the LWB and SWB moulds. And then the margin on each kit is miniscule. Its about keeping the buggy world alive, not making a fortune.

I understand we all have "bills to pay" and this means making a profit. I have to say if it wasn`t for you guys we would not have the buggy scene as it is today. I hope the fact that we have people like yourselves commited to this with "money out of your own pockets" is appreciated by others. It certainly is from me.   ;-)up ;-)up ;-)up
