Now making a decision on the colour and flake size, curious to see if there is there a preferred size for flake.

Mine was done in 400 micron holographic Chameleon Green flake by Ibbotson

I have plenty left if you wanted to do a deal on some 

Snow's buggy is in the 400 micron flake.  That's what we use as FF Buggies
East Coast use the 875 micron flake from Meadowbrookglitter.com I believe  (See Clem's buggy)

All depends on what you are after.

The smaller the flake and the more you add to the clear the better the sparkle.

The above answers itself.... I know this might not be possible easily for you but there is nothing like mixing up a few samples ans then spraying it onto both a flat & a curved surface. This takes out any guesswork.

Cheers, having spoken to Myles at Volksrod, he suggested doing some test sprays for me, so going to be patient.

you could always go for a mix (samples first) of 75% small/medium and 25% large/extra large flake, if done right and use the right kind of effect (fx chameleon etc) across you paint the look would be an overall coverage but you can get extra "pop" in areas
