Buggyist humour - something to look forward to!

Can anyone tell me if it's ok just to rock up on the Saturday evening with a tent and if there's likely to be space to pitch it? Can I pay on the gate too?

I have pre-booked enough space around the back of the site for as many to turn up as we can get - no worries there

If you can only make this for one day, the Sunday is the day to aim for - Although many of us will be there Saturday, its actually a set up day, and hopefully we will go out for a cruise somewhere on the saturday night like we usually do.

Just been thinking about booking tickets for Stoneleigh.

Wouldn`t worry too much

A recent change in policy by most of the ISP`s mean that the whole world is currently being flagged as insecure.

If I log in to this forum with Firefox, I am also getting the same message, and we are VERY secure 

I've never done an overnight camping in the buggy before.

Whats the score when it comes to the food? Does stoneleigh have decent food around after closing time for joe public for those camping? I remember the burger vans etc during the day, but what about night?

If so, whats the recommended small camping cooking equipment? I have a small gas stove but no space saving pots & pans....

What does everyone do who doesn't have a motorhome/decent cooker?

I have one of those small single burner gas stoves that pack up in a plastic case, a collapsible silicone kettle, a small frying pan, a mug and a couple of enamel plates. It all packs up small and flat, and allows a basic breakfast fry up at least. I always carry a couple of those pasta mug shot things for an emergency too. Burger bars at Stoneleigh are quite pricey, but there is a decent Supermarket just down the road, and we usually head over there for a quick evening cruise to collect beer, burgers and bacon anyway.

Its not actually as difficult as you think 

If there is a good crowd, then there is often something communal going in the way of food too, where everyone pitches in together.

Mug, plate, bottle opener - can`t go far wrong
