I need a new radio so I thought I would go for a marine grade radio this time.

I found 3 so far all with BT
Sony MEX-M70BT with CD player but I don't need a CD but has 6 pre-sets
Sony DSX M50BT no CD only 4 pre-sets
Kenwood KMR-M308BT

Can anyone recommend any other marine grade radios?
I know there are plenty of cheap MP3 players but I want a radio.

Do not install the unit in a spot exposed to direct sunlight or excessive heat or humidity. Also avoid places with too much dust or the possibility of water splashing.

Dave DND is the expert here but.... Firstly note the bits Copied and pasted from the websites for those models.

Would I recommend it? well yes and no. Certainly waterproof/splash proof - thats been well tested along with the 4x marine speakers I have. BUT if you did get it, you need an amp to boost the power in my opinion especially if blue tooth streaming. PLUS the usb stick (which I mostly use) has no folder structure for albums - its just a big list of music files, you can't select individual albums etc. I understand that this current model has been updated since I bought mine but I would check.
The USA have a very similar looking version which I understand does have album/folder selection so may be better.

Of course it may make more sense to get either one of the normal DUN size units above and install it in this - certainly gives you the waterproof bit then.
