Same as the angle where the bonnet meets the dash, give or take.

Roll bar should be at approx the same height and angle.

That would alter a bit depending on buggy stance and how nose down arse up it is, best set the angle that you think looks best or match the roll bar if fitted. Many bonnets have a moulding to put the screen up against so the angle is preset.

Fair point. So what is the angle of a standard Manx roll bar measured from the mounting flange of the body?

Lol...same angle as the screen... TBH I mocked mine up and took hours looking at them and adjusting slightly before finally mounting them.

Yeah it's the same angle but if you use the mounting flange you have a working level to use. Would you mind putting an angle finder on your David? It's to help with my monocoque drawings

Thing is with buggies being mostly home builds there is no standard just loads of individual ideas on what looks best,

That's is very true. I am just looking for a close angle to base my monocoque drawings/plans on.

Sorry but I haven't got an angle finder.

Smart phone?  iPhones have a spirit level/angle finder in the Compass app - swipe left.

That will still not take into account the rake of the floorpan

How about put a set square on the mounting plate and measure the right angle triangle it makes with the bar, then some fairly simple maths gives you the exact angle
