As it says, I use drill, buffing pads and autosol to try and keep heat tarnishing away, are there any other methods ?

Pretty sure he has one of Mike's very fine polished Stainless Steel ones already...

Autosol and lots of rubbing.... other than that you take it off every time you polish it and then buff... or you trailer it  ;D

Mine is stainless and has a lovely gold colour to it.

Take it all off, buy a bench polisher or something similar and have at it.

It's an exhaust, it should look like it has been hot - or am I missing something?

Bench Grinder with the polishing wheels, and copious amounts of polish.  Then cloths and autosol to finish it off.  Also add time.

If you are brave enough fit a worn bench grinder polishing mop to an angle grinder.

Hang on for dear life/grim death depending how lucky you are.

It removes tarnish and polishes in 1 but only recommended for the fool hardy, which is why I do it if I'm bored.

Or just use a polishing machine + mop, which is a geared down grinder? :P

Which is why a grinder works better/faster and with a bit of a mod takes a bench type mop.  it's also smaller to get in the twisty bits.

But it eats the mop heads.

Had a small oil leak & it sprayed onto my hot stainless exhaust & stained it. Tried autosol with no joy (hand polishing). If I invested in a mop would it polish out?

My Bench polisher definitely took a huge stain off of mine, I find now just keep cleaning off any leaks with autosol after use will stop the staining.
