I realise the rear errr... support bars have nowhere to mount but I like that look.  ;-)up

Don't worry,  will be getting a severe trim from the angry grinder,  also the rear bars are angled outwards, so swapping them over will bring them in more, if the section cut from the middle doesn't bring them in enough, plus they will get shortened, to stay within  the passenger compartment,
£60 for a collection of stainless tube and bends had to be a good gamble

Talking of gambles,  bought another buggy project with some of a 1303 included as a donor

The buggy will have to be a rebuild of some sort, since it is correctly registered as a Q plate buggy, if nothing else, the identity is worth more than I paid for the whole deal.
Believe the 1303 was a 1600, so hopefully will be a high ratio box to go with the IRS conversion,.
Engine turns over, so  hopefully a good 1600, with all genuine tinware, and an alternator.
The seats have been given a session of pressure washer

Had some shed time today,  engine turns over and has compression,

And some of the other bits.

And the rear wheels

Another load of parts collected tonight

The bonnet

Front wheels and a pair of pans

I seem to have cornered the market on aftermarket steering wheels
Theres a complete front beam underneath everything and a bag with a spare carb, fuel pumps, distributor and a brand new belt cover

Looks like you brought a large collection of bits, the buggy on a Q is good as it can be rebuilt anyway with no problems.

The correct v5 is probably worth more than I paid for everything, about 5 years and will be mot, tax exempt,
The 1303 is possibly an S, so the good gearbox and IRS conversion, possibly rack and pinion which may be valuable to the 02 03 brigade,
Still waiting for the seller to dig the shiny bits out of his loft and deliver all the big bits

Shiny chrome headlights,  not rusty yet, as not taken out of the box
