Saturday is a good day to aim for,

however, don`t forget that this event is about Swanage Carnival, and its the Sunday that both Flags and the town of Swanage are counting on our support for the procession, which is of course the main event

Whose travelling down m1/m25/m3 on the Friday morning?

Mark(4buggy) and I are setting off about 10am'ish which means at m25/m3 junction about 11'ish I guess so if anyone wants to meet on route and join us along the way.  :)

Snowy and I are up for meeting on M3, fleet services maybe.
We will have buggy, range rover which will pull our trailer tent we have bought.
Will good to be down there in good time, as it will be the first time we will have put the whole trailer tent up. Could be funny.

I`m fairly sure that I have a Babysitter lined up for Liz in the shape of her Mother, so all being well, hope to cruise down along the South Coast late Friday afternoon if anyone fancies joining me

If anyone wants me to bring any BEACHBUGGY.INFO stickers, or Top Trumps, (to avoid the postage), can you let me know and I`ll bring some down to Swanage with me.

The countdown begins.
Just a quick up date and some details for those that are incoming.
The boring bits first:

Please park all daily drivers in the football club car park once you have unloaded as space is always tight (as Peters daily is a buggy he is the only exception).

No motorhomes or caravans (trailer tents and camper vans are ok) on the camping area they must also have to go in the car park.
Everything we dump in the car park must be moved before we leave for the cruise on Sat due to the game, cars can be moved into the camping area once the buggies have made room but everything else has to go down into the public car park.

Tents are the top of the food chain and as such get priority on the flat grassed areas, campervans can always park on the car park but tents can't.

Please keep your awnings and gazebos to a minimum and don't be offended if you are asked to move something to squeeze somebody in, we have a couple of buggies not arriving until Sat.

All buggies are to be parked on the sloped area as it's no use for camping and that way they will not get blocked in.

Please fill up with fuel either on the way in or early on Sat as stopping on the cruise for fuel is very difficult.

There is a private party in the clubhouse on Sat but they have agreed to let us use the bar.

That's all the crap out of the way so.......
Here's a bit of other stuff:

It never rains at Swanage but if it does for Sat we have a couple of options, either stay in Poole for shopping and to see the town or head out to the Tank museum or monkey world?

Someone asked what the 'Facilities' are like?  I spent 29 years living off tanks so I've seen worse but they may be a shock if you're a bit posh.

Please look at where the cruise is headed so you have a rough idea of which direction to head if we get split up (over 20 buggies heading out of Poole on a Sat, we will).

The Knights/maidens kit for the procession is not compulsory; it's more about the fun than the fancy dress.
The main crux of the weekend is the procession so please, please try to stay long enough to do it, I realise that some have a little further to travel than me and if you need to you can head straight out of town after we have finished.

See you all at the weekend, bring a hat, beer and sun cream.

Can you give me the link for the cruise route, I am sure it has been issued before.
Cheers

That'll be handy.

How many are running iPhones as the find friends app is very handy too.
