cheers for the cruise to the start of the M3 on departure . got home no probs and clear roads . what happened to the roads on the way up i have no idea . enjoyed following the turbocharged bug . sounds awesome . great day out .

Well after we left the ace, Chris needed fuel, so with mine still coughing and backfiring, I topped up too. 5 minutes later and mine was running sweet again.

So it looks like my problems may have been a duff tank of fuel.

Oh well, still got the tuneup due, so hopefully I won't be sooting plugs up in 8 miles anymore.

Meanwhile, I should point out a big thank you to Gary (big GP) and hunter for organising, booking the ace and planning the route. Though folks thanked me, I was just the chap posting the map screen shots and the dodgy google map link! It is far more down to them! 

I feel the need to speak up on behalf of Chris, someone was trying to encourage anybody to remove your keys, even I was approached, luckily I was made of stronger stuff, they didn't have the bottle to do the deed themselves, all I'm going to say is that, had, their other half been there they would had been more controlled.
