VWNW Tatton Park will be on the 7th August 2022.

Last year they introduced a different system for booking and tighter rules on numbers of cars on plots.   From messages and what I have read online it looks like it will be similar again this year(though they are hoping things will be relaxed when it comes to Covid restrictions by then).

I will book a club stand as always and will request as many spaces as possible (last years plot was actually very generous).  RMCH will be with us again.  Last year was a great success for them as they collected more cash than any other year.

I still dont know if RMCH will go ahead on the Saturday prior to RMCH.   If it does not go ahead I am happy to plan a cruise similar to what we did a few years back when we went to the Carding Shed / Oil Can Cafe http://thecardingshed.co.uk/

As we love list I may as well start one early - for the club stand it will be first come first served and I cant confirm the  number of slots we have yet (soon as VWNW tell me then we will take the numbers from the list that have requested a slot up to the number they allocate).

Club Stand
1. Krug (Tony) and Mandy

WOW - great and fast response... I am asking people of FB to respond on here but a few seem to have some issues so added them.  I have to say that I am not on FB as much as I used to be so this has to be the main list for first come first served.  Hopefully we will get the same amount of slots as last year (15).

Just wanted to clarify something as Steve messages me and I may have confused people:

The Club booking is not open yet - I am doing this early so we are ready and so I can ask VWNW for a plot that will fit all of us that want to go and the Hospital stand on it.  There is no guarantee that I will get what we want but I will ask / try. Also for anyone that wants to come and book accommodation this gives you lots of notice.   VWNW expect the show to be oversubscribed again this year and accommodation locally to the show always gets booked up early.

Entries for the main show are not open yet.   These are always a bit of a lottery ie you request an entry and its up to VWNW if they give you one.

We are lucky as VWNW really like us and the fact that we have the hospital with us.  I do get updates directly from them so as soon as official dates for requesting a place in the show are available - I will update this post.

Dave I am sure they will give us 15 slots and if we get more wanting to come - I will just ask.   It helps if I can ask either before they do the open invite or immediately when they do.   So getting names early is really helpful - so thanks for adding your name.   The more the merrier  ;-)up

I have several "standard" cruise routes that I can adjust on the day depending on weather.   If the weather is looking good in advance then I can publish fixed route cruise.   Living in High Peak gives so many options, but we always need to keep the weather in mind as we do get more than our fair share of rain up here.   So yes will definitely do one if we get the interest.   The hospital are still looking into possibilities but realistically I cant see how they can commit to anything in advance as it will depend on how good or bad the Covid rates are in July / August (hopefully very low).

To everyone interested in a Saturday Cruise - please let me know if you want one.   To get a decent one in we would need to be departing at my end between 11:00 - 12:00 if we want to get some food at the Carding Shed.

This place is not far from me if anyone is looking to stay over with great views and safe parking.   http://www.oldhouse.torside.co.uk/  From my house to Tatton Park is around an hour on the Sunday so a nice pre show cruise into the show if anyone wants to stay near me.   I will also be booking a meal at the Bulls Head Tintwistle as always on the Saturday night.
