Entry tickets for Tatton go on sale in 4 days.   Even if you are on the buggy club stand you need to get a ticket.   This is the link https://www.tattonparkvwshow.com/tix/?fbclid=IwAR2HV31ts_brWATI4IsyA5nImrUa8CMJbtqvsS_-UY0UVDYXwLZA1sHVZEI

VWNW tickets now on sale.   They have 150 special early offer tickets up for grabs at £5.   You can get one per household / booking.   They also have a £10 special for early bookings (not sure how long this is on for) which saves you £2 per ticket.

Another quick update.   RMCH have confirmed that we will not be able to attend the hospital again this year due to the restrictions they have in place.   They will be with us at VWNW on the Sunday and hopefully we can raise lots of cash for them.

So, we are on for a cruise on the Saturday.   I need to get my thinking hat on as to where we should go.   The Oil Can Cafe / Cardingshed http://thecardingshed.co.uk/  always seems to go down well. If anyone has any preferences please let me know.   I do like the Woodhead Pass / Snake Pass loop with Winnats Pass / Castleton as part of the route.

Think this may be a good route.   For those on the "other side of the hill" we could meet at the Oil Can.  My thoughts are grab some food and a brew at the oil can. A stop of an hour or so.   Head off towards Castleton and stop either at the public car park in the centre (toilets there) or the car park at the bottom of Winnats pass (or both).  This would be a couple of hours without stops and about 60 miles.  This does not need to be one of those mammoth cruises as these roads are really good / very scenic / not that fast.  Plus there will be other opportunities to stop for photo shoots if people want too.  We could easily add a few more miles if people really wanted.  But by the time you add getting there etc I think this would be a nice run.  Given it will be on a Saturday I would expect quite a bit of traffic especially around Castleton.

There seems to be lots of noise / complaints on Social Media about the number of cars that have not been accepted into the show this year.  I got a message from the organisers and its all down to being over subscribed in previous and again in this year.   That's why they asked for lots more detail about the show cars so they could make a selection.

I will keep these places on offer until the tickets arrive.   If no one wants them, I will then offer them to other VW owners that cant get in.  It may mean we have some GTIs or other VWs on the stand.  But I would rather they are used by fellow VW enthusiast rather than go to waste.

Tatton passes have arrived  :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Please see the note from the organisers especially the part about entry to the event

We still have one space left and I have decided to keep hold of this until Monday just in case anyone does decide they want to be with us.   If not I will offer it out on the "The Cheshire VAG Society" Facebook site (formally the friends of Tatton Park VW site).

I will bring tickets with me to Ashbourne on Saturday and I will be posting the others who are not at Ashbourne out this weekend.
