I have now received official confirmation that Stoneleigh 2021 is planned to go ahead with a new date this year of 28th / 29th August 2021

I have put in a request to book our usual spot on "Shaggy's Corner"  with camping at the back as normal.

As soon as I receive confirmation, I will put up more details for tickets, camping, etc, etc

Obviously the Covid Caveats will apply as to whether we are allowed to go and play or not, but so far its looking mighty good.   

More details to follow.

For those in other Clubs also, there is a general email in circulation about some of the changes at Stoneleigh, but rest assured, after a chat with my mate Peter, he has confirmed that all should be well with our usual split display on the hill and camping round the back area.

Dear Clubs,

After our meeting at Stoneleigh yesterday we have a lot of big changes to implement for this year. As all of the blocks after the main gate are currently under ground works, they are having a matting installed under the grass which will not be usable until mid-September. Stoneleigh are having this done to make up for the lack of parking as they have lost Gates 1 – 2 – 3 due to the HS2 Railway passing alongside the site. These blocks will be available for 2022, but for this year we need to condense all of our club sites onto Block 59 – 51 – 63 – 73 and the Grand Ring. I'm currently working on a new layout for all of the club sites and a new site plan for 2021. When I have this finished I can send that to you so you can inform your club members of you new temporary location for 2021.

I'm currently waiting on the ground to forward me the details for a couple of marquee companies, once I have the plan and your locations organised I can send this all out to you.

Please bear with me as creating new site plans take a bit of time, thanks for your support at Stoneleigh and I will get the information out to you as soon as I can.

Stuff like this makes me wonder why they are trying to push through the event this year.

Different date, temporary layout. Sometimes you need to know when to quit.

Or at least stick to the original time of year when you hold it - and wait until next year if you can't   

I`m going to try and get there if I can, but I`m going there to camp with Buggies, not to see the show

STONELEIGH has always, and will continue, to be considered as the WORLD'S NUMBER ONE SHOW. It is the annual mecca for every kit car enthusiast, both here in the U.K. and overseas. Stoneleigh is the only Show where many new projects are launched each year and any manufacturer who has serious intentions within the industry will always exhibit. There are some excellent facilities available and a good atmosphere can be created within the Royal Showground. We are offering Clubs a display area where they can group their members in one area and put on a Club recruitment presentation.

ACCOMMODATION CARAVAN/CAMPING
Good on-site facilities are available to anyone wishing to camp for the weekend. Application forms are available direct from the Organisers - please state whether you will be arriving in a kit car or not (there is a difference in price!). Tickets cover the period from 10am Friday 27th August until midnight Sunday 29th August inclusive.

HOTEL AND BED & BREAKFAST ACCOMMODATION

ADMISSION
THE DETAILS BELOW APPLY ONLY TO THOSE DRIVING A KIT CAR (NOT TOWING ONE).

Daily Admission for visitors arriving in a kit car
Kit car drivers admitted FREE OF CHARGE.
Adult passengers: £10.00
Child passengers (8 - 16): £5.00

(It would be most helpful if on arrival at the Main Vehicle Entrance in your kit car that you have the correct money available to speed up the entry of vehicles into the Showground).

Weekend Admission for Camping (when arriving in a kit car)
The following camping fees include admission to the show on both days and camping from 10am on Friday 1st May to midnight Sunday 3rd May.
Kit car drivers: £5.00
Adult passengers: £20.00
Children (8 - 16): £5.00
All above prices are inclusive of VAT and apply only to those driving a kit car (not towing one).
These prices also include the Sunday night live entertainment.

BUILD-UP AND BREAKDOWN
Club members will have access to the Showground from 10.00am on Friday 27th August. No earlier entry will be permitted. Please ensure that all club members are aware of this!
BREAKDOWN:
All exhibits must be removed from the National Agricultural Centre grounds by midnight Sunday 29th

Thought about this but with a local show for £5 and the option of £25 at Stoneleigh to lay awake in a tent in a field we'll give it a miss this year.

Have to wait to get all the little bits I need till next year.

I'm at Camper Calling at Ragley Hall that weekend.  If they had done Sunday/Monday I might have popped in on the way home, but as it's Saturday/Sunday no chance.

Just a heads up advance tickets end in 2 days 

Hi all, a few of us going to have a ride out to a pub on the Saturday night. The Finest Catch is closed so need to look for somewhere new. This will obviously depend on numbers and we will need to book. If you are interested please add your name to the list by Sunday 22nd August
