Volksworld Show dates for next year are 29 & 30 March 2014, at Sandown Park. This is the weekend when the clocks change. Easter weekend bank holiday is 18-21 April 2014.
Lets hope the organisers recognise its the 50th anniversary of the beach buggy and do something special inside. Matt has already written to Volksworld about this; waiting for a response.

Still no response so fingers crossed. I've basically thought through the whole show for them for free so no excuses really!!!

Suggestion - It may be that a willing volunteer goes into their editorial office in Croydon to discuss if you don't make any progress.

I'd be willing but unsure how to arrange such a thing! Will write a follow up letter in a few weeks if I don't hear back. Might be worth other people writing it too.

I had a conversation mike Pye the week before last.
They are in discussions of what to do, and he is going to let me know if they decide to do anything.

What sort of thing did you have in mind ?

Personally I think it will be a shame if its the usual 3 or 4 brand new pro-built buggys on display.
That's not what it was all about when Bruce started it.
I like to see more home made, lived in, used cars up there.  Loaded up with camping gear etc.

This was the letter I wrote

Thought it would be great to have a line up of buggies. And ultimately to have Bruce come over and give some talks.

Volksworld have contacted me and plans are taking place. If you have any ideas I will take them to the team to see what can be arranged

Ideas already mentioned on here by Parmaynu.
Also, try to get the guy who owns the red Thomas Crown buggy replica (reg 462 XUP) who lives in UK (Kent ??) to display it inside at the show.
Large display of Manx buggies inside.
Volksworld mag to pay for Bruce & Winnie Meyers to fly from California to UK to be special guests at the show, all expenses paid.
