Guys I have a set of 60's rear light for the buggy am I right in thinking these need trimmed a bit to fit a buggy right?

That will depend on the body style and the angle you fit them at. Even personal taste comes in to it when fitting your lamps. Try it first holding them in place with tape and see how it sits/ looks.
If you think it needs trimming then trim away till your happy with it.

Grip the housings tightly and pull and sort of squash them to make them wider, then give them a bit of a twist. No need to trim.

Thanks Guys. Will have a wee look at it tonight and see if I can get them mounted.

You'll probably need to drill the mounting studs out and replace with slighty longer M5 screws and nuts so it'll snug down nicely. Is it the East Coast 'Classic' buggy that you're building?

Have you got chrome light housings? Only asking as Rob has a mould to make the housings in fibreglass so you could get ones to match the body and they sand down to fit the shell pretty easily.

I was going to get them painted in to match the roof Matt.

It is David. I will grab some M5 nuts and bolts tomorrow.
