hi all

decided i was going to start making some improvements on my buggy, jobs needed doing
1. a bit of light welding - is their such a thing?
2. front brake conversion - parts ordered from peewee as they were selling full kit with backing plies for £220 earlier today.
3. seat replacement - full trimmed set £690 delivered from flatlands, so i need to reduce this as really budget for seats was more like £400 tops.
4. change screen from fibreglass surround to metal - or replace bonnet but only if its something i could do without wasting to much money otherwise wait till colour change
5. rechrome wheels - maybe next block of work
6. rechrome lights - maybe next block of work
7.  chrome roll bar - maybe next block of work
8. chrome front bumper - maybe next block of work
9. customise dash to tidy up - a winter project
10. shell colour change - demo next block of work

so not a small or cheap list, however trying to get into it and first thing, brake resivour almost empty, so this could be a bad omen, add to this the fact that welding might require full shell off due to location and risk of fire and it isn't starting well.

i don't want to waste money on jobs and may eventually decided to buy a new gel coated shell, so want to tidy some bit up and sort some things completely, so now a time for the 1st rear question, i was told that hunter makes seating, it was in a post asking for images of please, diamond and block stiching patterns on both loose fit and fully trimmed versions of seats from flatlands as there pictures aren't brill. so it hunter does, then pictures and prices please, if he doesn't does anyone else or does anyone have pics of what the flatlands seats look like trimmed up?

many thanks
Carl

Waste of money chroming lights you can buy stainless headlights so no wory about rusting.
Rechroming the wheels may cost more than a new set if they are available.

There are the pair I have spare. They have metal frames and are very sturdy. Had I thought about it I should have just got these recovered. They will come with the runners, also good quality. As you can see there is one small tear on one seat (maybe an easy fix for someone that knows)Well padded I might add.

Thanks evilsea, they look amazing, will have to serious look at pennies once I've covered a few of the essential jobs, but we'll look worth the investment, I have picked up a cheap pair for now otherwise would be beating your door down for the spares you have, I'm sure someone would snap them up though if you listed them
