Hi, I have a swb go mk2 and am wondering if anyone knows/ has had any success with removing the mounded windscreen surround and fitting a metal framed one

Hi, and welcome to the forum (don`t forget to introduce yourself in the Newbie section) 

Just curious as to why you are wanting to chop the screen off - glass is usually available, but if you don`t like it and want it off then thats fair enough. I had to chop off my moulded screen on my Hustler GT and replace with a metal one, and instead of replacing the bonnet with something else that fitted from another model (others will advise) I did it the hard way and rebuilt the top of the dash to fit the screen.

If you're not into fibreglassing you could always buy another bonnet/dash unit that'll take an alloy screen, most Manx/Sidewinder type ones will fit. Try East Coast Buggies, Fibrecraft or buggypete on here.

I've got a gp bonnet with the screen already removed if you're interested. Save you chopping one up? Maybe we could do some sort of deal / swap?
