Anyone out there within a reasonable distance with an old style A-Frame for sale.

I know that they are illegal to tow with now, but I have a thought running through my head and it starts with chopping up and old A-Frame, so not really fussed what condition its in, and I don`t really need the Ball end either.

If anyone has any good pictures of an A-Frame, that would also help - looking at how it attaches to the car, and the shapes involved.

I have an A frame I made for towing the Machine Gun buggy behind the Iltis to shows. It is made so that it is legal to use and the parts cost £40. Made out 40mm box  and an ebay tow hitch. Made one for my mate who uses it to tow a Jeep behind his Mercedes Ambulance.

If its interesting I will pull it out and take some photos.

Some photos would be good if possible as I am trying to see in my mind if I need to bastardise something to make it do what I want, or whether I need to start from scratch

And depending on how that goes, I may be hassling Manxrod

Managed to pick up a big box of bits - so will see what trouble I can get into with them
