Hi, fitted a pair of finned alloy rocker covers when I dressed up my 1600 twin port. I have the empi chrome cannons and have found that I can't remove the rocker covers without removing the cannons, what a pain ! Unless anyone with the same set up knows a little trick, many thanks.

A common problem with cannons as some are close to the heads. Just fit brass or stainlesss nuts on the exhaust so they do not seize on the studs so you can get them off to do the valves when servicing.

If you have cannon exhausts the slip into place they can be a real nightmare trying to seperate to get access. They seaze together too, so its rubber mallet time!!

Due to have a custom exhaust made and I'm going to ask them to make the valve covers accessable by channeling the pipework, and any joints are needed to be bolts and flanges rather than slipping on and clamp down.
