now that ive swapped the holley for a 28/26 dcd i need to alter the linkage as the primary is the opposite to the weber

need to replace the std link bar but thought maybe ball end or rose joint but not sure which to use due to the lever arm the accelerator cable fastened too rotating

was thinking rose joint on the carb but not sure if ball end will move enough on the lever arm end

what you think!!!!!!!!!!!

you could extend the tube through the fan housing with a 90 degree bend and a clamp onto the carb bolt then fit a longer cable. no need for a linkage.
As it is now you will need a longer stud under the manifold so you can clamp the carb down tight and still have room for the pivot area and securing nut but it should work fine.

That's a good idea Snoopy  ;-)up

One thing.... The throttle cable would need to be a flexi woven type, like a bycycle ? Or do
you think the standard cable, which tends to be very stiff, would go round the bend...

I guess there are lots of ways to sort a cable out though :)

noticed that some people use single ida's use a cable that goes over the fanhousing so a cable extentsion must be available but cant find one

dont know how to extend the cable anybody help

think it would be best coming round the back of fanhousing and across the front of dizzy

the way the linkage goes i need to pull across and down the existing linkage doesnt open the second choke due to angle
