Well guys, I've been here for a couple of months now and today I started to receive some of the parts. I will be building a Lolette buggy on a '71 shortened Beetle chassis, running a VW MK1 1.3 Golf motor. The buggy will have discs, front and rear.

So, as i start to get the stuff, i'll put up pics and explain everything, as i go along.

Peter, I heard that they're quite rare nowadays.

I guess they are over here, shame really, as its a lovely style and very individual in that it hasn't been copied much, if at all ?

I hope you may put your photos up and I will create a build/buggy album, only if you are happy about that of course.

Going by the shape of the rear wings and the bonnet I'm pretty sure it's a Beam Buggy, not a Lolette, sus' sayin'...
