I've mentioned it on the old site, particularly because mine are quite poor but those shown on the buggy above are pretty good.... (and CBS online are recommended too)

Its worth seeing what sort of intensity the LED are like. Many dont give out a lot of light, they still work fine at night, but poor contrast during bright sunlight - especially an issue with those with clear lenses. So can be an issue for drivers behind realising you are braking or indicating. See if you can see them illuminated first before buying them.

like Andrew says they can be almost invisible if they are not mounted vertically, driving behind Fran with his sloping ones I could not see him indicating or braking.

I can get genuine Alfa moto led rears at a reasonable price (as per Hunters CTR) but Im not sure if they will look too big. I haven't reinstated the bodywork yet

I second the comment about getting them upright.
Mine are from CBS (plus a pair of LED teardrops from Pop Brown) and are mounted on a housing they sell that gets them upright.

I have been told brake lights are easily visible in daylight.

I got the smaller led's from svc as they had a lip on so fitted in against a flat mounting plate under the shell as the larger ones are smooth sided so need really accurate hole cutting and now way of clamping in.
