Hi Hazel, I remember writing a post saying I don't think you will have enough room to accommodate everybody for this years N.E.W.S  because it was such a success last year but for some reason it has been removed  :-\

For some reason or other the old thread was deleted!

I thought that this year was going to a quiet one (I shouldn't listen to certain people) it's good to know you're happy to go with the flow and pack them in. I suppose 15 pitches is a guide for people camping together who don't know each other.

Hazel,

I think we probably both know the answer to this one, but it may be worth a courtesy call to the campsite to make sure that they are ok with an oversubscribed field. I know that we are all happy to squeeze together and camp "refugee stylee" as we always do, but check that there are no planning  / insurance / bylaw restrictions imposed on the campsite for the number of plots they can allocate, as I know for certain that this can often be an issue with some of the smaller campsites down this way. Some local authorities can be a but funny over stuff like this and its worth double checking with the campsite owners, as we don`t want to get them into trouble.

Looking like a cracking turnout so far   ;-)up

Dave,

I had already spoken to Alistair (general manager) when I originally visited the pub to book it for us and he was happy to squeeze more in - as long as we were happy to go "refugee stylee". The site is fairly big but there is a bit of a slope and we'd be up on the flat bit of the "hill" so there is room for overspill and parking the buggies. (I did take some pics when I visited, will try and dig them out). Anyway, I dropped him an email to double check it was ok to have more pitches and his words were:

Hi Hazel,
That will be fine, the more the merrier!
We look forward to seeing you all in July.

So no need to worry, I will not be getting anyone into trouble. The more the merrier! Come on folks, let's make it one they won't forget! (in a good way)

Paddy, I have an electric hook up spot already booked, but its looking more unlikely that I can attend this one, so you are more than welcome to my spot if you want it

There are 5 hook up spaces at the site.

3 are paid for:
Snoopy
Dave DND (maybe)
Testa

You could either take Dave DND's space or book another here http://beachbuggybrummies.bigcartel.com
