I've still not heard anything more about Bruce & Winnie Meyers attending. Volksworld editorial staff return after the Xmas break Mon 6 Jan 2014 according to their website, so we live in hope!! Nowt about them coming in the Feb 2014 Volksworld.

Just bought vwt mag and the volksworld show advert confirms Bruce Meyers  will be at the show. 
He will be signing autographs and giving interviews.

Does anyone know if Bruce Meyers will be holding a seminar/talk at Volksworld Show?

I might be wrong but I don't think anyone knows what is happening, what day or day's they will be there or what is planned talk or event-wise

I guess the only people who would be able to answer is Volksworld

Again, just a rumour I have picked up on, but I heard somewhere that the Volksworld organisers are allocating timed slots for those wanting to meet/chat with Bruce, so it may not be as easy as you hope to gain access to the guy.

It would be good to present him with a pack of Top Trumps though, and get a picture - is anyone going that could possibly pull this off for us?

Well i'll take my set and if I get a chance to get close I can present them to him 

Chris see you there do you know what day you're going yet? I'm not sure yet myself may go both days but only in the buggy one of them

It's being sorted out by the SDBC who's taking buggies for the club stand on which day, get your name down probably doing a list we like lists

Don`t fret my friend, I have a few packs set aside just in case anyone manages to do this and needs thiers replacing

Info off Volksworld mag website below. Bruce was actually here in UK last in May 2000 to view Mel Hubbards production of authorised Meyers Manx bodies & to give a talk at the SDBC clubnight.

Bruce Meyers, the founding father of the VW Beach Buggy, is making the trip from his home town of San Diego to attend The VolksWorld Show. Bruce has not been to the UK since the early 60′s so we are truly honoured by his presence, especially to mark the 50th anniversary of the Meyers Manx. Look out for him around the show and by the Buggy build, where he will be signing autographs and relaying memories from the past.

Thinking of taking the buggy down on the Sunday if the weather is good, who do I speak to about having a space on the club stand ?
