Just bought a set of wheels and need some advice rears say 7.00 x 14 x .31 out, whats the widest tyre i could fit safely ? the fronts are 6 x 14 x .105 out, can i fit 185 x 55 x 15 tyre on this wheel? thanks in advance

You can't fit a 15 inch tyre on to a 14 inch wheel friend!

with 14" rims you need taller tyres especially on the rears 235 will be about as wide as you can go.

Old Red's on 14" wheels, not sure of the tyre sizes though, most likely old US bias belted ones.

TBH you may struggle to find 14 inch tyres as they're quite uncommon these days. I do have a pair of 235/60x14 Kelly Superchargers in my loft that you're welcome to try but they're a bit on the old side.

7x14 you could go to 235/70/14 or 28x7.5x14 m+s fronts 225/60/14 .ive got loads of big 14" rubber(its very hard to find these days)in fact you willl probably be close to standard beetle tyre height rolling radius than a buggy using 15" big rubber.so the car will be more drivable.as for posting just strape m together and shrink wrp.a pair is usually no differant price wise to individual price.parcels2 go is who i use.

have been looking for 235/70/14 seem pretty hard to get hold the 235/60/14 seem more available, the fronts am going to run 185/60/14 which dont seem to be a problem to get hold of, never thought when buying the wheels about tyre availability but have learnt something now all goes into the buggy brain bank
