I think dark Green too Ben, specially after what Dan has said about the dirt that gets onto his roof,
it really starts to show on beige after a while, and must be something else to keep clean.

Maybe!  ;-)up

Thanks for the replies guys. The more I look at it, the more I'm liking the green (which will please Dan no end... :D ) I had a BMW 328i cabriolet previously which was Dragon green I think its called, with a green hood and that was lovely...

I need to speak to John....... Ive also decided to go for a rear window the same as a split screen beetle. Different to Dan and Allan's and a nod to where buggies all began...

Does no one do tops using a frame these days? I prefer the look of them, they would give better headroom and would be easier to tension.

David, not sure on the frame thing these days. I'm personally not a great fan of them. Not exactly sure what it is about them I dont like but there is something. It might be difference it makes to the roof line shape or the height its adds but I'm not overly keen. Ive seen some 60/70's buggies on The Samba with roofs with frames, especially over the rear and I just dont like the shape they have....

To be honest, John has done a great job on Dan and Allan's without the need for a frame.

We put a bar in Mark's Doon to give space for his little 'un.

I think the line suits it..

Nice looking top that Chad, the extra hoop makes all the difference IMHO...

Cool buggy...Wide fives with cool tyres, solid colour, great hood.  Thanks for posting. ;-)up
Would the seats be standard from a beetle do you think?
