Hi guys got this today with my fugitive. Thought it would look better on a buggy. Im not 100% on it so will offer it on here 1st before other sites. Its a chain steering wheel. I would be interested in px with a quick shift gear stick. Or a good small diameter steering wheel. Or what have you got??
Will polish up well and if i get time ill give it a treatment of autosol!

Any how i would like £60 on the wheel. plus p&p.

dont like doin this but that wheel aint legal for road use

Well it passed the not with it on with no issues. Alot of things are it road legal but people still use them and get away with it. Mr T ill leave the ball in your court if you want it that's fine. If not ill remove from sale. I have no idea on legality I got it with the fugitive but took it off as I've now got a sparco d shaped.

you are allowed to modify steering wheels and they pass the mot unless they damage the hand or are considered weak, modern motors are probably different although folks remove airbag wheels and fit sensors to fool the system.
There must be many hundreds of chain wheels in use as the rat look and custom guys like them but
for me personally they would be to cold like metal gear shift knobs in winter and they also get hot when left in the summer sun.

they are not illegal to use but the were made illegal to sell them, as there were quite a few incidents where people got injured when hitting pot holes  or in accidents as fingers would get caught in them and were broken in the kick back.
Do know of 2 people who were pulled over by plod and given a warning about using them and the possibility of a prosection, so many are now just for show wheels

Thats interesting but I guess you could cover it in clear resin, silastic or a thin wall clear tubing so the chain is visible but smooth.
