Can anyone advise on the strongest way to repair fibreglass - the main tub is cracked and the wing needs bridging. A previous repair had been attempted but I cannot say what system was used but can see that there had been no preparation of the damaged areas or the removal of a black paint coating. The consequence being that the wing was able to flex more than normal and the repair literally was able to be pulled away.

So - would you repair using a polyester resin or epoxy resin? Is chopped strand up to the task or should there be some woven glass applies to the area? I could use Kevlar to bridge the damaged area but is this unnecessary if the repair is carried out well in chopped strand?
