I need to sort out a quote for mine. I have been with AFlux for a while with all my high performance cars, but had a company car for a good few years now, so lost all my NCB 

these policies dont have NCB

swapping to modded classic from the standard  car insurance I had on th buggy your no claims if you swap to them stays live in suspension for 2 years then you need to get an insurance with it to keep it going.
A plan did me a fully comp with daily commuting 7000 miles ( more than the standard classic 5000 max) for £98 nuts and bolts cover only so if it is my fault they pay for all the parts to repair it and I supply the labour as no bodyshop/garage would want to take my buggy on as the parts are off so many donor vehicles. Saved me £81 over flux who had it for 27 years.

Thats why we have Clare on here - so we can negotiate

I had a quote with them for my Polo after Andy put me in touch with them, it was ridiculously high. Maybe for beach buggies it'll be better, phone up - get a quote - and let me know? 

My buggy insurance isn't due for renewal until January but it was on my Opel GT with A Flux, spoke to A-Plan today and moved to them

Cheaper plus the agreed value is free unlike AF and most helpful, going to speak to them soon when the wife's Audi is due and my buggy in Jan
