Before talking about Ginge, just thought I'd post one of may fave photos of my first buggy.

So having got the sentimentality out of the way here's a pic of Ginge today.

Getting ready for a freshly tweaked / rebuilt motor plus some smart new end cans that will finish up Mike's excellent pipework and tidy the rear end up a treat.

Hoping to get the motor back in the next couple of weeks so will post up regular news.  :) :) :)

Cheers

The gearbox remind's me of a washing machine drum  ::)

Be nice to see you all out in them again though  :)

Am feeling the same Peter. Really missed not having the buggy on the road last summer.  :( :( :(

Marks is OK I think and have dropped Steve a note to get him on this site so we'll find out what he's up to. Last I saw he was asking about Farmer Robs spare 2 litre engine so perhaps he's blown his up!  :o :o :o

Cheers

is there a gauge mounted on the tank, or is that just the sender ?.
Ive done mine like this,
sender one side and gauge on dash, the sender cable runs inside the hose just to keep it looking tidy, also matches the other side  ::), earth attached underneath,
roll over valve breather the other side, hose runs up to the twin breathers on the cage, I bought it to fit to the engine at some point in the future, but I though, what the hell, might as well use it now  ;D
yes I know the cap is vented, but liked the look of it  ;D
both mounting brackets follow the curve of the spun tank and sealed.
at least chad said it looked purposful  ;-)up

That's a much blingier set up than mine Steve, looks very neat. It is the actual gauge in my tank not the sender so not quite as easy to see when you are driving along!  :o :o :o
Have also got my tank mounted higher up and bolted to the roll cage which gives me luggage space underneath.  :) :) :)
Hope to see yours on the road soon.  ;-)up ;-)up ;-)up
