I've been invited to park my buggy up at Shobdon Airfest for free as long as I arrive by 9.45am and don't leave before 4pm. Anyone wants to join me then put your name down here and I'll tell the organisers. I am happy to meet at Clerkenleap Esso station (A4440/A38 roundabout near J7 of M5) at 8.30am to then cruise across. 

Will see how things work out just back after near two weeks away and loads to get done

I intended meeting the Buggys at Clerkenleap station at 8.30 then leading them into the depths of north H'shire so reaching Leominster about 9.25/30 then onto Shobdon for 9.45

Can meet you anywhere along the A44 or on the edge of Leominster?

If you can bring some MBC branding like a banner or sign that would be professional !

Will meet at services as we go past the Kempsey turn going to yours will sort out some banners. Might be a Kango day if thunder storms are forecast as Jas has had a good buggy trip already

Great to have 8 buggys and all noticeably different colours.

The idea of meeting at Clerkenleap petrol station has been dropped and so watch this space for the new location(s) later today.

Says its going to be bloomin warm tomorrow with some isolated showers so bring something water proof to wear else you may be driving home in a warm puddle !

8.30am Running Horse pub at Long Bank, Bewdley DY12 2QP just west of the start of the Bewdley bypass, on the left going up the 'bank' on the A456 to Tenbury

Being made to feel welcome and placed in the centre of the event as 'Vintage Buggys'

We have been assigned some air cadets to safe guard our Buggys from the public

I like the idea of having us do a parade or 2 if we go next year.

The smart set went off in a helicopter





But they captured our row of wingless planes really well





A Fraser Nash's 4 geared (no clutch) system of chains was impressive functional engineering right under the drivers seat along with the petrol tank





I read this war time notice about feared air raids in Hereford and was surprised even out in the sticks there was an understanding that attacks from the air could happen here...in 1915
