I'll get straight to it, has anybody had any experience or used one of these looms?
They look to already have relays etc on them which could be helpful....
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Most after market looms are for front engined cars I see Cool air do looms up to 1966 but £650 is serious money as it is a bare loom.
A DIY loom is a lot cheaper as you can get bus bars with 3 terminal strips on so a live, ign and earth on one block also a selection of blade fuse boxes 12 is a good number 6 for the lights and 6 split battery and ignition feeds
I use 13core thin wall and a power cable along side it to the rear and coloured headlight cables from AES tenbury wells they also sell non insulated terminals and crimps, strippers so worth looking at a web site and pricing stuff up.
You need to know what you are fitting electrically simple or loads of extras.

And I never even gave it a thought regarding front engine....

Auto Sparks do a loom for a rear engined kit car for around £250, they also do a beetle complete loom for around £550.
